Graduate Resource now has an extensive knowledge base in recruiting, training and supporting graduates to complete Local CLimate Impacts Profile’s (LCLIP’s).

An LCLIP is a tool that has been developed by UKCIP (UK Climate Impacts Programme) in order for local authorities to asses the impact that severe weather events are having on their service delivery. This process typically takes around 3 months; from gathering the information to creating a database of recent events that are local and relevant.

Graduate Resource has worked with many Authorities on this type of project, initially placing 9 Project Workers within the City and County Councils of the East Midlands. During this project, Graduate Resource worked with UKCIP to develop the process, and on the back of its success other Local Authorities have now taken on Project Workers to complete this process.
