I am the Graduate Resource Manager responsible for developing our partnerships, alumni and our project opportunities in areas such as recycling, carbon management, sustainable procurement and the wider sustainability arena. My previous roles include; marketing manager in an international role with BT, Web development manager for a lingerie manufacturer and a chef in a Michelin star restaurant. I have a strong interest in education and sustainability. I have volunteered on projects to raise young peoples’ educational and career aspirations and participated in conservation work to protect the wildlife in Malawi’s national parks. I have a great personal interest in the sustainability of our food and its supply chain and I love to grow my own produce to use in the kitchen at home. |

I am the Education Sector Coordinator, linking graduates to sustainability projects in educational institutions across the UK, and supporting them through their placements. Coming from a Human Geography background, my interest in sustainability led me to work and volunteer on environmental education projects here and abroad, and then through an MA in International Development and Education. Now my enthusiasm for involving young people in Education for Sustainable Development is constantly developed and challenged through my role at StudentForce. |

Jonathan Ward Sustainability Co-ordinator 01572 725832 |
As one of the
Sustainability Project Coordinators, my role is to assist graduates in
finding work in the sustainability sector, and support them through
their placements. I am also responsible for networking, alumni, and I
seek to create new sustainability projects. After studying for a MSci in
Physics I worked for three years as a Research Assistant developing
mechanisms for the hypothesised health effects from exposure to low
frequency magnetic and electric fields.
However I have always been interested in environmental and political issues, and have volunteered with different organisations. I recently studied for a Masters in Globalisation, Environment and Social Change in Sweden. After writing my thesis on Education and Sustainability, I wanted to work in a position that addressed the problems facing recent graduates, as well as working towards a greater level of sustainability in all aspects of life. |

I work as a Sustainability Projects Co-ordinator with an emphasis on marketing within the StudentForce Graduate Resource team. I have a voluntary background in environmental campaigning at universities and with local and international NGOs. I am very grateful for this fantastic opportunity of significant professional development through working with StudentForce. Additionally, it is amazing to focus on such diverse themes surrounding sustainability and to assist others in helping themselves. I look very forward to extensive networking and creating new partnerships and projects with StudentForce. |
